The launch of Phoenix Movies Channel on 28 August 1998 marked another milestone for Phoenix. Committed to providing non-stop family movie entertainment, the channel utilizes the digital technology of the AsiaSat 3S Satellite, providing encrypted pay-television services to the audience in the PRC.
