| | | | | | | | A "Tanya's Workplace" is set up by Phoenix in Beijing to pave the way for presenter Tanya Liu's comeback on screen after a lapse of two years, as announced at a press conference held on July 16, 2004.
Mr. Liu Changle, Chairman and CEO of Phoenix, said the set up of the workplace is to put Tanya back on the screen. As a part of Ms Liu's recuperation program, the workplace aims to facilitate Ms Liu's re-integration to the society and the ever-changing, dynamic media industry. With the help and encouragement of her colleagues and a caring audience, the workplace will prove to be highly conducive to both her spiritual and physical well-being.
The workplace gives Tanya a transitional space in which she can part take in some pre-productions and guest-hosting programs. Her workload will definitely increase as her health permits. Tanya has recently accepted an invitation to be the Officiating Guest for the Oxfam Trailwalker 2004, to be held in the coming November in Hong Kong.
According to Dr. Ling Feng, Tanya's doctor, Tanya still has to undergo medical treatments as she resumes her work. Her overall recuperation will be a sign of encouragement for other patients. |
