Hong Kong November, 2004     Beijing Tongbu Guanggao Chuanbo Youxian Gongsi (北京同步廣告傳播有限公司) signed an agreement on strategic cooperation with Shaanxi People’s Broadcasting Station (陝西人民廣播電臺) today in Hong Kong.

This is the first cooperation agreement officially signed by Beijing Tongbu Guanggao since its establishment by Beijing People’s Broadcasting Station (BPBS) (北京人民廣播電台) and Hong-Kong based Phoenix Satellite Television Holdings Limited  (Phoenix TV) (鳳凰衛視控股有限公司) last September.

Under the agreement, a joint-venture company named “Shaanxi Tongbu Guanggao Chuanbo Youxian Gongsi”  (陝西同步廣告傳播有限公司) will be set up to capitalise on the competitive strengthens such as brand name, operational experience and programme  resources of the strategic partners concerned for cross-region business. The JV company will operate a radio channel with frequency being provided by Shaanxi People’s Broadcasting Station on hiring basis.

The agreement was signed by Mr. Fan Shang Zhong (樊尚忠), Vice President of Shaanxi People’s Broadcasting Station and Ms. Wang Qiu (王秋), Chairman of Beijing Tongbu Guanggao cum Vice President of BPBS. 

The signing ceremony was attended by senior government officials of the Shaanxi province and Shaanxi People’s Broadcasting Station representatives.
