Defining beauty as a concept and as seen everywhere is the central theme of Beauty for the Century. The program is in association with Miss Chinese Universe Pageant where the ultimate winner will take up the responsibility to promote peace, environmental protection and cultural reconstruction in a new interpretation of the premise beauty is as beauty does.

Beauty for the Century gives news updates on beauty contests at local levels and will build in a main theme for the grand finale from October to December.

The program also features all things bright and beautiful, showcasing beauty as found everywhere - from nature to architecture, jewelry to perfume. Hosted by the charming Liang Dong, interviews are conducted with people from every aspect of the beauty business such as models, fashion gurus, fashion editors, artists, photographers and CEOs of firms manufacturing beauty products. These along with snippets from the global competition for Miss Chinese Universe Pageant, keep the program dynamic and interesting to viewers.
